WE NEED A BETTER BIBLE STRATEGY

Many of us want to know and understand the Bible. However, this requires a good strategy to succeed. The most common strategy today is to read the Bible silently on your own. But many of us fail to maintain that habit. Another common strategy is to rely on church services to cover the Bible, but most worship services only cover a few verses each week. In 1 Timothy 4:13, Paul exhorted Timothy to “devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture…” The public reading of Scripture is a strategy that works. If you listen together for just one hour a week, you will finish the whole Bible about every two years!

Accountability

If you try to read through the whole Bible on your own, it’s easy to get sidetracked. Listening in community provides natural accountability to keep you making progress.

Simplicity

This is an easy, accessible way for anyone to get into Scripture. No homework or preparation is needed. All you have to do is listen.

Perspective

Hearing the Bible read aloud offers a different perspective than reading silently. Listening to the words as you read allows you to absorb the content more deeply.

GOD’S WORD IN ITS NATURAL HABITAT

In Scripture we see over and over again how God’s people came together to receive God’s Word as a community. This serves as a model for us. The Use of a high quality dramatized audio Bible makes this ancient spiritual practice more effective and efficient than ever!
